Anonymous page counts
Use the controls below to change future page counts.
About counts · opt out
These server counts use no analytics cookies, visitor identifiers or browser tracking code. We keep daily totals by public page and broad traffic source, with known bots and tests separated. Raw IP addresses, browser descriptions, referring addresses and query strings are not stored in these analytics. Counts are requests, not people, sessions or proof that a page was read. No reading time is measured.
The live daily counter keeps 90 days. Anonymous aggregate reports and experiment results are retained for comparisons. Temporary anonymous delivery records are normally removed within three days. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control requests are excluded. This is separate from optional Google Analytics.
You can exclude future requests from this browser on this site. The choice uses only a nonunique preference cookie for 180 days and works without JavaScript. An earlier counted request cannot be linked back to you or removed from the totals.
Before you choose, limited view signals use no analytics cookies. Decline stops Google Analytics; Accept enables cookies and reading statistics. If the controls cannot load, Google Analytics stays off.
To improve our guides, before you choose we use limited Google Analytics view signals without analytics cookies. These include public page identifiers, the referring site origin and device/network information, including IP address, browser language and screen size. They do not include feedback, URL query strings, an assigned user ID or a Coru repeat-visit marker. Advertising remains disabled. Decline or withdrawal stops Google Analytics; accepting enables analytics cookies and the reading statistics described below. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control also stop Google Analytics.
